Ed Woolner, the man behind the Feel Good brand, has been surfing since the age of 8. Growing up on the beautifully wild Gower peninsula in Wales, there was plenty of opportunity for him to get into the sea and it set the tone for his adult life. He chose to make coastal living his priority and moved to West Dorset when he was 21.

Ed is passionate about being in and near the ocean and understands its importance to his mental health. He knows that not everyone has the same access and can struggle with fear and confidence in water. That’s why he is a huge advocate of The Wave – the first inland-surfing destination of its kind. It is a place where people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can experience the joy of surfing and its physical and mental health benefits. It’s also a lot of fun!

We will be working with The Wave, as part of our 3% People & Planet focus, on their forthcoming social impact programme to help those who would not have the opportunity to experience surfing. There will be a series of events and competitions too which we can’t wait to tell you about. Come and catch a wave with us!
